    Passat B5 V6 Engine Swap to a 1.8T

    I had a 1998 passat 1.8t 5 speed that was involved in an accident that still has a perfect engine, but needs lots of body work.. I found a 2000 passat V6 5 speed with a blown engine head for sale and was wondering if it would be worth buying to do a swap with.

    Both cars are b5 5 speeds and i'm pretty sure that the tranny is the exact same... I'm just not sure if it will be worth all the effort/time or if I am better off just buying a new car all together

    Unless you are a master VW mechanic with lots of spare time.
