Curious, how did you get the rear brake setup to work? Are the two calipers held on with one bracket, or are there two separate ones? Did you have to extend the parking brake cable somehow?

It is one big bracket. There are a number of engineering feats that Tom worked out to make the kit work perfectly. I guess it doesn't work so well out of the box as I've heard from others that had the kit and sold it because it wouldn't hold the car on a hill. Tom spent a lot of time making extra bracketing to make the kit work perfectly. This kit works just like OEM. He did an awesome job on it, per usual.

At Wookies '12, I just happened to walk past some white R32. Right as I got to the window I did a double take when I saw that manual gear shift knob coming up out of the console. Holy ****, it was the R36!

I had no idea the car was going to be there but I sure am glad I got to see it. It may not be as gnarly as some other wicked turbo R32s out there or the new HPA MKVI Rs, but in my opinion this is one of the best VWs on the planet. It's just perfect. Whoever buys it at $40,000 is one lucky son of a bitch.
