[B]I AM OUT OF GOOD LIGHTS.

I have a couple sets remaining that would be good for retrofit projects, or if you dont mind taking them apart. You can install a set of Morimoto projectors, etc for a huge savings. The projectors are a little loose and require them to be re-secured. You need to take apart the lights to do this.

Check out www.hidplanet.com on how to do retrofits, etc.

Only $200 shipped per set. First come first serve!

Just pm me if you like a set.

To order, just pm me or email me what you want. edward@becautoparts.com

    About the lights

These lights are designed as an upgrade for your halogen lights. They do not work on cars equipped with OEM Xenons unless you do major re-wiring, than you lose your AFS, etc.

Low Beam Projectors – take H7, D2H or D2S HID bulbs. H7 Halogen bulbs also fit as well.
    Hi-Beam – H1 Halogen

    Install Process

North American cars have DRLs, and you have two choices, you can either disable your DRLs, or program the LEDs to function as your DRLs.

To code LEDs as DRLs, try the following:

DRL should be left on, then code DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS AS POSITION LIGHTS
then code LED MODULE INSTALLED this is byte 24 and byte 27 (Byte 24 to E4, byte 27 to 24).

It is possible that BYTE 18 will need to be coded to 20 for DRL LED to function properly.

This is using the stock headlight switch also. So just the lights and some vag-com took care of it. Also of note, when you turn the lights on, these LED's will go out. Not really an issue though, as the low beams wash out the LED light when viewing at night.

More instructions can be found here:

    http://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33377

Use a 6 mm Allen key to adjust the lights and aim them as you would your halogen lights.

    Warranty

Due to these closeout prices, warranthy only applies to the LEDs burning out. One year warranty on the LEDs.

Condensation can and does happen with all headlights, even on brand new OEM lights, there are drain holes which will remove the moisture. Avoid going to extreme temperature changes until the lights get adjusted to the ambient temperature.

They are xenon, designed to take a D2H or D2S xenon bulbs. H7 will fit in as well, as there are extra notches to allow these tofit.

Got my headlights installed last sunday. While not as good of a beam projection as my jetta headlights which I retrofitted myself, they are good enough, especially for this price. The coding you provided were spot on. I even made the fogs come on along with the LEDs as my DRLs.

I just finished the install on mine and I'm waiting on my laptop to update VCDS so I can do the coding. They fit great and it was an easy swap. The hardest part was getting the headlights in place and bolting them back up, but it wasn't too bad.

It's fairly simple to do. There are lots of posts on how to do it.

How do these compare to your new reps aside from LED count?

Made from a totally different company and has better quality. I guess the last batches were a little trouble some with hazing and humidity. And yeah the 10 led which is a dead non OEM giveaway.

Selling off my remaining "seconds" as a huge discount, only $200 shipped.

Issue with them is the projector maybe alittle loose in one of the headlights. You need to take the lights apart to fix. Plus, a good opportunity to upgrade the projectors to a set from Morimoto, etc.
