FS: Los Angeles 1991 GTI - Clean - $3,000

i'm the 3rd owner. belts and motor/tranny mounts, fuel filter, motul gear oil all done within 15k miles ago. new battery installed 9/14. dash is clean no cracks ( best part is the interior, good condition). ill also throw it any other parts i have in garage like eurosport strut brace, new ignition coil, new rear brake pads, and whatever i can find.

bought for $4,000 and only asking for $3000 firm

5 angle valve grind, HD valve springs, Autotech 270 camshaft, Autotech adjustable cam gear.
Converted valve cover to rubber one piece with new studs
K&N drop-in air filter
Dual downpipe manifold-ABA downpipe-high flow cat (test pipe available)-TT 2.25” exhaust

Professionally rebuilt from a 98 Jetta by a factory VW technician
Quaife limited slip
ACT pressure plate/sachs disc
MKIII weighted shift rod
Delrin relay rod bushing
Eurosport short shifter

Brakes-4 wheel discs

Front-9.4” Zimmerman cross drilled with PBR Metal Master pads
Rear-Brembo cross drilled with Mintex red box pads

The Bad-
-leaks oil from oil pan gasket, between trans and block and theres moisture on the valve cover. doesnt leak much, i put in a lil bit of oil 3-4 months or so.
-small dent on rear pass panel
roof has a bit worn paint (20 yrs old afterall)
- lifter noise cold start
-ac needs recharge and no heat (blown heater core)
-belt sqeals when turning wheel all the way right /left
-a few days ago the plastic retaining clip cracked at the end of the throtte cable and im trying to source a new one but having trouble so i did temp fix by using jb weld on the middle of the metal clip and its solid. ive repeatedly pressed the pedal completely down to the floor with no issues.

Just curious why you raised the price from $2800 to $3000? Did you buy a new throttle body and cable for it? Pretty clean car but with a busted heater core, and no a/c I think $3000 might be stretching it. Heater core changes in mk2's are not cheep if a shop does it and a big pita if you have to do it your self. I like the keskins on that car though. Who built the engine? Is it chipped to help handle the mods? Does it pass CA smog (I lived there and I hated CA smog)? Did you upgrade the injectors?

i feel its $3000 i lowered it a lil to move it but if i dont get it i dont mind keeping. i have all the receipts from the po regarding the motor work. it passed smog 2 yrs ago and ill get it smogged in a few days and if it doesnt pass ill fix whatever it needs.
