Ok, so my 12v vr6 is at 135k miles and so is my tranny. I'm in want of more power. This leads me to several options...one of which is to drop in a low mileage mk4 r32 motor instead of rebuilding the 12v. My question is what all do I have to do to have it installed? Can it easily be dropped in since it's already got the necessary accommodations for the older vr6? What about transmission options? I'm trying to see which route would be best for me...building a 265whp 3.2 or rebuilding my 12v and either supercharging it or turbo. I'm thinking if I do either form of forced induction it would be wise to rebuild everything beforehand...especially if I want to run a decent amount of boost. I'm having a local shop do the work so I want a ballpark idea of how much work these options would entail and if at all possible a ballpark price point. The motor is still running good so I'm just gonna run it like this while I save...just wish I had 100whp more ...
