So we've almost been married a year. Looking to go away for a weekend with the wifey. We live in Southern Michigan. I'd like to drive under 6 hours (keep costs down), so no airplanes, but trains aren't out of the question...

some ideas, but a bit played out...

    Northern MI
    Mackinac Island
    UP (aka almost canada)
    Detroit
    Chicago

    some other ideas...

    Toronto
    Windsor
    Indianapolis
    Cincinnati

Any other thoughts or recommendations? we're looking in early October to travel.
    Regarding DD'ing a tuned Evo:

I'm coming up on the 1 year too. For our honeymoon we had a nice little cabin in the mountains and absolutely loved it. To celebrate, we booked a similar cabin again this year for a nice long weekend. We've done plenty of other traveling but for some reason a simple little trip like this is our favorite.

And congrats on making it a year!
