Thread: Lock nuts for OEM BBS wheels with spacers

  1. 08-30-2012 03:32 AM #1
I was just wondering what are my options for lock nuts for the OEM BBS wheels on my 2004.5 Jetta GLI? I have 10mm spacers on the front and 20mm spacers in the rear.

I found the following off the ECS Tuning website:

Has anyone used these? Any other options?

you need locking lug bolts, not nuts, unless youve converted to studs on your mk4. you could also get what looks like a locking socket that accepts a key that will fit over a lug bolt head (exactly what you posted above). either option works fine.

here's an example of locking lug bolts. dont forget to order the correct length since you have spacers.

I use those caps i actualy have 5 per wheel so it looks even but you obviously dont need to do that. they work quite well and i noticed between my first order and second order thy changed the key type so i assume they make a bunch of diffrent keys for them

either way they fit 17 or a 19 and work great

Thanks for the confirmation. Yes, the centre cap hides it nicely!
