Hey guys . I finally got around to digging thru my crap and I kept a few awesome things one of these is a Callaway oil cooler (external)
Its got earls lines and a setrab cooler
Problem is I dont know which side mounts to the filter and which side goes up to the part that connects to the block . Basically I have the sandwich plate and corresponding hardware
One side is flat with what appears to be a black plastic o ring and one side is smoothed and concaves in . Both have the grooves where the oil comes out to be filtered and come from the block. I just dont want to put it on wrong any help

o-ring goes to the flange, as oil filters come with a rubber seal on them.
Tradition is the art of making the same mistake repeatedly, on purpose.
