THIS!!!! Not only I'm crossing my fingers that you buy it, But you will get to have your own reality show based around doing menial daily tasks around town.... That is until you get on behnd the well of the S8 and the show is transformed into 60 minutes of Ronin type car chases.....
Show ends when you get home from the adventure style drive to the grocery shop, just to bring home a bag of Whiskas Cat food....
Why yes; that she tropper has sideburns...

Still, I was ambivalent, since, on paper, the S60R and the S8 are pretty evenly matched, the mileage is similar, the MPG is similar, etc. The Volvo also "looks" newer.

Then, I spent the better part of an hour watching (listening to?) to S8+exhaust videos on YouTube . I think that sealed it.

This one was replayed many times:

I still have the M3 for canyon carving/track/fun stuff. The S8 seems like it would be a decent daily, especially with that noise. GOD THAT NOISE! THAT NOISE!

    (I need a Kleenex)
My B6 S4 had a no res/crossover Milltek exhaust with Milltek catless downpipes (necked down section removed) plus a K&N panel filter. Again I think that's what sold me.

It didn't however compare to my LS1 Corvettes with a Corsa pace car and Borla straight pipes.

I am ashamed to admit that many moons ago I knew at least three of the individuals in that photo from the "drifting" and "canyons" scene. One is currently in prison (maybe out by now) for carjacking a Z06 just to see how one drives.

    Quality people, those.

I wouldn't want to spend the $1400 for the Milltek (assuming the purchase happens). Think something similar can be replicated with a removed resonator and an aftermarket muffler? I saw a video with a Magnaflow but it was too... Well, too "American"-sounding. Not sure what his actual setup was.

Just buy a new Passat so that they have real leg room in the back seat.
Lately I have been testing "tip-in events". Just the tip-in. Just to see how it feels. Response time is typically on the order of 2-3 seconds. Sometimes the injection timing is a little off...

It's the drunken car shopping. I mean we all want to do this, I know I do, but something always stops me from doing it.
Touareg Hybrids are pretty nice, and the warm fuzzies I felt while driving the hybrid was actually the fingers of all of the German tax payers trying to reach into my wallet to get their money back. (Brendan@bwalkauto)

$6,999 seems reasonable -- about the price of a used 2001 Civic in SoCal...

    Could be just old pictures...

The other S8 Vad went to look at needed smog too so that's not different. The non-broken bumper is worth $1,500 more though.

But no rebuilt transmission and no mention of t-belt .

Black interior looks 100x better, though.

Set up an appt and we will look at it this weekend since it is in the 818. Maybe after I act as a taxi service to get your ass to Fontana to drive Porsches.

What's a 2006 Civic with 115k that needs a new hood worth? I may have one that I would like to replace with an S8.
