Break down is a 93 12v corrado swapped to 24v. I made an adapter from the ce2 fuse box to the plugs that come off the engine harness. I have communication with vag com and a United swap tune. Problem is i get no injector pulse, no spark. I can activate the injectors via vagcom and have an RPM signal. Wondering where to go next aside from double checking the wiring. This isnt my first swap but it is my first obd2 swap or anything with me7.

    Thanks,

im assuming you have had the immo defeat done already, you must be missing some wiring. are you throwing any codes?

wiring is square. I can talk to the ecu via vag com. I can energize the injectors with vag com and i didnt cut the harness in any place made my own plug and play adapter. motor and everything ran fine in the last car. no codes. register rpm via vag com too. Im going to scope the cam and crank sensor and see what they look like. UM swap tune is what it has so yes immo defeated.

Look at how you have it wired up.

The ECU is powered off the relay, but the coilpacks / injectors are on a separate circuit (at least they are on the R motor).
we were run out on a rail / fell from the wagon to the night train

i have power to everything that needs it. To coils to injectors. I couldnt fire the injectors through vagcom without having power to them. The wiring is fine to the best of my knowledge i have gone through it a couple times since i initially started this thread.

have you checked for power and ground at injectors and coil packs, you should double check. it sounds like you are missing ground or power to the coils. maybe even an issue with the ecu if you find you have power to them.

checked for power at both and good to go. Like i said no wiring to the injectors should be at fault as they work when energized through vagcom in the output test. I did not check for ground at the coil packs and am somewhat unsure of the way they are wired. IE ground triggered or? 4 wires so...

well theres 2 grounds on the coil harnesses Brown obviously and Brown/Red , the you have a black/red that is relayed key power 87 and finally the trigger the small wire that is a few different colors. the brown goes right to the engine block and the other ground is also a ground for some other sensors and is grounded to frame rail/ battery. So if the you dont have enough current to the coils via the relayed coil power it may have to week a charge to creat a strong spark or even ignight the coil. That is if the ground are correct. I would go through and just double check your wiring, what did you use or base you pin outs on to begin with bently manual? or another source?

Thanks I used a combo of Alldata(bentley manuals), actual paper bentley manuals for the corrado, and http://www.clubgti.com/showthread.ph...ss-install-FAQ I know this is for a 1.8t but the refernces to the fuse box side wiring is all pretty much the same according to my bentley.

Im pretty confident the wiring is all correct. I have power and grounds where i need to at the ecu. I can scan it with vag com and show no codes. Its possible my grounds for the coils could be the problem but that still wouldnt explain no spark. I just ordered a crank sensor as they are only $45 and it should be here today. If not that ill just throw it on the shelf and it will get used at some point.

Thanks for the help so far. If i dont get to far today with it than im going to copy down my pinouts i used and post it up here to see if that helps any.

So the swap came with an APR ecu 022 906 032BM ecu and i purchased a 022 906 032 CS ecu and was told they would interchange. Sent the CS box to United to get the swap tune. Just for kicks i tried the apr tuned ecu and it gets spark and injector pulse. Bad ecu or something wrong with it the whole time. Thanks for the help guys.

To tell you the truth i used a cheat sheet when doing an AEB 1.8t swap once and found there was a bunch of errors and wound up doing my own pin out via paper bently and alldata, so that why i stress double checking

Its nice using someone elses cheat sheet but yea i dont trust em entirely so i always hit the bentley/alldata. I got it up and running yesterday called UM and they loaded an update on the server and i flashed it on. Im getting excited to get it finished up the car has been off the road for awhile.
