Just curious if any one knows of local APR dealers receiving their flash tools yet for the TT-RS. KInda wanted to gauge the progress of this distribution. The dealer I am waiting on is in Arlington, Texas near Fort Worth.

Similar thoughts to 2 other reviews.

    Additional thoughts:

Exhaust has a raw sound. A bit less subtle than stock but loads of character. First day I was a little concerned , a week later I love the sound.

Let a friend drive the car today as I listened, very exotic sound from a bit of a distance. Do need to be a little more careful about who is a around and listening...

Power very linear, best improvement clearly mid range, car pulls very hard. You can hear the down pipe filling up around 3500 rpm. This setup is very complimentary to the car and the chassis soaks up the power with ease. My friend is a long time Audi guys and says this setup faster than any R8 he has driven. I have driven an R8 GT and this setup, while less refined, is as quick, if not quicker.

I also have taken about 80 lbs out of the car between wheels, HRE P40 s's , Voltphreaks Battery and APR full exhaust .

More HP , More torque , Less weight = NICE...

Quick question on the HRE wheels... What is their size, offset, and weight? Also, have you measured a 0-60 run yet? It would be interesting to see whether it is under 4 seconds even if you don't do a full 4000+ rpm start.

No et's yet. Would guess .3-.5 faster.

HRE's are 19x9, 50 offset, tried 43 but big rubbing on rear tabs. The shop did not weigh before installation but my research shows around 21 libs each. The "s" is a bout 2 lbs lighter than a standard P40. OEM's are 29 lbs. Also replaced Toyo's with Super Sports which are close to 2 lbs per tire lighter.

Biggest bang for buck is the battery. Depending on which one you get you can save over 40 lbs.

Running the Voltphreaks for several months with zero issues.

Yes DBC Tuning. San Antonio TX. Just did full stage2 APR tune on Dallas area car. Guy goes by "walls" on QW. They have an excellent rep statewide. ReCent review on Quattroworld ttmk2 forum. They have the flashing ability in house.
