My oil pressure when i first start the car is anywhere from 3.5 to 4 bars, after driving for a good amount of time, oil temp goes up to 110 degrees (as read on stock vdo gauge) at this temp im getting .5 bar at idle, and about 1.5-1.8 bars at 3k rpm 65-70mph. Im running 20w50 oil. Tried 0w40 previous and i was getting similar readings. Does this all sound normal? it seems to be a bit low to me.The car is a 92

I am just making the educated guess that it is due to the heat. I always like to run 20-50 when it is hot. I have no idea what they put in my new cab when I bought it, but my oil pressure gets a bit low once its warm too. If 20-50 doesn't help, try subbing a tad of your oil with some lucas mucas. Good stuff, Maynard.

According to the facts when your car oil is 80C.
In neutral rev your engine to 2K
If your oil pressure is 1.5 bars then you don't have an mechanical issue usually.

Running 20W 50 and a "Non House Brand, Generic, Fram or Bosch filter" will usually stop the blinking Oil light from hades.

Installing a 36mm geared oil pump will also assist in pressure issues once you are certain that the
Filter choice and oil weight are sufficient. Older engines with bearing wear will not give you the 1.5 bar at 2K.

Older engines with low pressure issues won't be fixed by the 36mm geared pump, it will be a placebo....
Grounds, Grounds, Grounds Replace them things.
Divorces, Great Coffee, and Electrics, all start with GOOD Grounds.

    Where are my grounds ?

If you want to know for sure, put a mechanical oil pressure gauge on the engine. The VDO gauge isn't 100% accurate.
