NOTE: I have added some pictures below. I haven't cleaned (will be done this weekend) and I will get some better pictures.

With much regret I have finally decided to sell my beloved GTI. I say beloved as this was my first sporty VW. I have had it since it had roughly 60,000 miles (I got it in college in about 1997). It has served me well but I don’t think I will be getting the chance to give it the attention it deserves.
That said the car is not in the best shape. It has a couple of dents and dings and is in rough shape. There is the standard rust in the battery tray and a little spot under the wind shield. It would be fine for a daily but won’t win any beauty shows. I tried to take pictures but anyone who is interested should look at it before making an offer. There was a stereo in it but it was stolen and the thieves made a meal of get the speakers out.
In addition to the car I have a couple of engines that go with the car.
    - 2.0l 16v with wiring and gearbox
    - 2.0l 16v that probably needs rebuild
    - 1.8l 16v short block
    - 1.8l 16v long block
    - Spare 2.0l head
    - 2x sets of Pirelli P-slots (no center caps)
    - One set of 16” Mercedes wheels
    - Full Megasquirt set up with injectors, fuel rail, etc.
    - Misc VW parts
Basically for the asking price I would include all my random VW parts. Now for the price, I asking $3000 all included as I don’t really want to hold on to any parts as after this goes I have no use for them. I know the price seems high but that is what I am looking for. I am potentially open to offers but I will not move much off the price. I would love the car to go to an enthusiast but beggars can’t be choosers. If my price is way off base then I will keep the car and rebuild it.
The car isn’t currently tabbed but I should have that done by the end of the week. If anyone has any questions please let me know and I can answer them.
    Stats:
1992 GTI 8v in Montana Green
    104,512 miles
Recaro interior (seats are in great shape but I am missing the front door cards)
    Autotech rear strut bar
    Neuspeed front strut bar
    Neuspeed sport springs
13” BMW 320 wheels with new tires (less than 500 miles on them)

Seems like a reasonable price, although pics will help your case!

Interested in a 89 Wolfsburg coupe. It's from Arizona so has barley any rust. But the body also isn't in the best shape I could maybe throw some money on top if you are interested. My number is 425 218 9262

My dad and I would be interested in picking this up as a project. Please let me know of you are still interested in selling.
