Idenify the car x1,000,000

While jeeping in the desert I came across a car that was pushed over a ravine and left to waste away. I figured this would be a good one to post in here and see if anyone can ID the make.
The W123 Mercedes, most notably the 240D, is an excellent model of automotive perfection!

yep.. I got derailed at Impala variants and years and then wandered off into the desert of Mopar before starting in on Ford..............Fairlane....... too late.
