Ya know, my daughter says NO but for me, the Scirocco is not pracitcal - parts hard to find, got a primary vehicle that gets lousy mileage and I've been thi nking of getting a newer GTI or Jetta.

I love my rocco but my passion for it - I mean I don't like taking the chance driving it anymore after restoring it, owning it for 20 years.

I've driven it like 3 times this year, 3 times last year...
Space is limited, swapping 3 cars around in a single car garage/driveway is a PITA.......

Whatcha think, a straight swap for a 2002 or NEWER GTI/Jetta?

I'll be thinking about it before posting.

Truck is at a buddies house getting a new oilpan gasket - he needs the work and I don't have the time so I'm using my VW as my primary vehicle again, kinda cool....reminiscent of days gone by..

Easy solution: Put the Scirocco in the garage and you'll hardly ever have to swap 3 cars. Only two, which is way less trouble.

When I have been down to one garage space (several times since I've owned my car), I did this.

That's what I do, but if I choose to drive the scirocco I have to swap TWO cars out...

Easy solution, buy a bigger house LOL

But I know there will be a day I have to sell mine too....

And that would be yesterday if my wife has anything to say about it.

The only reason to sell it is to step up to a better toy car.

    For me that would be a 2003 C4S convertible, or a 1956 AH 100-4.

    That day will happen.....
