That was good, no idea how they stretch it into a multi-season show but it will be fun for a while.

Hopefully they learned their lesson with LOST (which I also had the same thought after the first episode) and start having shows w/ more quality and less quantity.

I agree. I will continue to watch but cannot wait for the new "season" of BBC's Sherlock!

Im with you there... seems better suited as one season or a miniseries... but Ill enjoy it while it lasts.

Speaking of which, why do we have to wait a year for 3 episodes?

Here's what the experts are predicting:

    http://tv.yahoo.com/photos/fall-tv-s...737-slideshow/

Definitely, Mob Dr., Guys With kids, Animal Practice and The Neighbors are gonna bite the dust soon.

Watched 2nd episode of The Mindy Project - I'm on board
2nd episode of Ben & Kate was mildly silly, but I still don't see long term prospects for this one

Ditto. I don't remember setting my DVR up for it, but there it was this weekend. I loved when Ben was telling his sister that his ex was getting married, and she asked what he was going to do.

It's just an odd dynamic with Ben & Kate: idiot older brother & grounded sister. Actually, it's the two supporting characters that have lifted the show out of the abyss.
The British chick is hysterical -- almost a love child of Ricky Gervais and Catherine Tate.

Watched the second ep of The Mindy Project last night, I'm a little blah on this despite being a fan of hers.

New shows added and still on TiVo:

    1. 666 Park Avenue
    2. The Neighbors (1 episode in and it's got a 50/50 chance)
    3. Last Resort (1 episode in and I have a bad feeling about this one too)

New shows deleted from TiVo after 1 or 2 episodes (as of 10/04):

    1. The Mindy Project
    2. Partners
    3. Revolution
    4. Go On
    5. The New Normal

We were 50/50 on Ben & Kate until the end scene of the pilot, where she crashes into the drum set and he's like "shhh....". We both lost it at that point . The second ep is still teed up to watch. Last Resort I really want to like, but I thnk it's an omen that my DVR failed to pick up last night's episode. We still have two episodes of Revolution to catch up on. The pilot dragged a little for us until the end, when it became interesting. Still haven't watched Vegas or Elementary, despite being DVR'd. Kids and travel will do that.

After watching a bunch of these... I think this is an exceptional weak crop of new fall shows. The only think I found really interesting and unique was Last Resort

caught up online today with episode 2. I'm still in the "has potential" boat. How are they going to make a multi-season show out of a roque sub commandeering an island??

I hope they have an ending in mind and let it run its course while answering our questions without going over. Maybe 2 to 3 seasons. I know, big wish.

The only new show that I've tuned in for has been 666 Park Avenue. Both the girlfriend and I enjoyed the Pilot episode and she was even a little scared after watching it.

Our DVR didn't record the second episode but luckily it is On Demand so we will likely catch up on the second and third episodes next Monday.

I've given up on Ben & Kate. The honeymoon is over.

Animal Practice canceled by NBC. Last episode 11/7, to be replaced by equally-horrid Whitney.

Where is the best place to get updates on the death watch? I am interested to know about Vegas, Revolution, Last Resort, and Mob Doctors.

I love Connie Britton but I couldn't make it halfway through the pilot. Soap Opera with a Twang, music I don't care for (subjective) and I hate characters like the one Haden plays, the deliberate, horrible bitch. No appeal to me.
