convertible and coupe parts interchangeability

are the front fenders, front and rear bumper the same between a 2004 convertible beetle and other 1998-2005 beetle coupes ?

They should be the same. In the Bentley, it shows the same parts, for the convertible and for the coupe on those body parts.
'00 Beetle, 1.8t T3S60, Brute Rods, Supertech Valve train (stock cam shafts for now), port and polished small port head, custom FMIC (pain in the a** on a Bug!), Bosch 440cc injectors, 3.5FPR, Catch Can, 2.0 Coils with Iridiums, Wilwood BBK, too much other stuff to list, too much $$ spent.

NO! The rear bumper is different because the trunk lid is extended lower to get a larger opening for the convertible due to a lack of a hatch.
