Hi everyone, I need some help with my swap.
Was OBD2 ABA, now OBD1 AAA with a motor that ran great in the donor car.
I am not getting power to ECU (no cel on ignition with either cluster) and I can pull 109 and get no difference than when it is in. Funny thing is though, I can start the car because the fuel pump primes and runs continually on key in on position. When it runs though, it sounds awful, top end sqwak and really rough, can't hold idle well. I get no codes and have had two mechanics draw a blank. It is my DD and I'd love it back on the road, please help.
    Thanks!

After unhooking the ecm and testing my red/blue wire (pin 23) on the ecm connector, I get nothing. Back at it's home in the fuse box, I'm getting power. Does this guarantee a wire break, or is there another option. I do notice other smaller red/blue wires in the engine loom to all the peripherals.

make sure you have a computer relay since obd2 car don't have them If I recall correctly!

Yep if you are using an obd1 harness you need to use the 109 relay in top row pos3.
