    Mk3 ecu radio locked

    Radio was stolen any thoughts on how to fix this problem? And will changing the ecu help this problem? Also what triggers the radio to tell the ecu to be in safe mode. Lmk need the help. Thanks

    Car is in safe mode. Can a vag help? Or is the original radio the only way to reset the ecu? Help is needed. Please. Why is it so hard.

    I've never heard of this before... You sure the alarm is working ok? No mk3 had an immobilizer in the USA, and even the ones that did in Europe (and in the 3.5 cabrio), the radio does not disable the engine.
