I wrote the same thing in the Jets thread. The AFC-East has a really easy schedule this year. They play the NFC-West and AFC-South so they only have the 49ers and Texans out of those 8 games as 2011 playoff teams. The only potential cold weather game they play is week 17 in New England and the Patriots are likely to pull their starters for that game. I think Miami has a pretty good shot at going .500 this year.

I thought Tannehill didn't play too bad. Take away the last 2 INTs(tipped, and those are always a right place, right time situation), and he did a solid job all things considered. Granted, those last 2 INTs basically set up Houston for two easy scores, and basically blew what was a close game wide open.

Wished Reggie would've run the ball more. He didn't do too bad either.

0-16 a possibility? A friend of mine is a dolphins fan and he still only has the 1972 'phins as his only reason He gets so pissed off during the draft. He was pissed off last year when they started winning games and took themselves out of the "Suck for Luck" sweeptstakes.

Our defense is too good, we'll probably win 4-5 games this year.

Houston is an elite team that should go deep into the playoffs if they're healthy. Wait until Miami plays those weak NFC-West and AFC-South teams, Oakland, and Jacksonville.

Was at the game today. Probably the best Reggie has looked out of the backfield in his entire career.

Reggie looked incredible in the second half. Actually, the whole offense was pretty awesome in the second half. I was very pleased with how we played today.

I'm so pissed about the Jets game. Friggin' Carpenter cost us. Those kicks weren't easy, but that's his goddamned job.

after he missed the one in OT, we headed for the car.

we were halfway down the ramp when we heard that the jets missed their FG.

so we RAN back to our section, only to find that we'd called a TO just before the snap.



all in all, though, it was a really good game. if i'm the jets, i'm a little ashamed of how it played out.

At least Tannehill, Hartline,Bess, and Wake(really, whole defensive front 7) looked great.

Tannehill has really picked some bad spots to throw INTs. I still saw a lot in that game that I liked though. We're three missed field goals away from being 3-1. I can totally deal with having us play close games and losing and improving our draft position. Going 8-8 or 7-9 all the time is infuriating.

Got rid of Naanee, who had that costly unforced fumble, and signed Jabar Gaffney in his place.

agreed.

thing is, they're looking better than they have in a long time. it's the rookie errors and the times they're caught off guard that really hurt them.

either way, expectations are still really low.

even stranger is the fact that if not for Dan Carpenter, we'd be 4-1 right now. go figure that the guy who was the only one putting up points on the board a while back ago is now the reason we've got an extra 2 losses on our record.


i just wish they just went all in already with the trading/draft pick situation. we should NOT have held on to matt moore, and never picked up garrard. taken both devlin and tannehill and developed both. the job goes to the best match. then pick up an offense designed around whoever the winner was for next year.

Hello Dolphin fans. It looks like your next opponent will be my St Louis Rams. I'm here to wish you luck. I believe it will be a good game. It looks like you guys have a decent QB you just need to find him some help and pick up some decent recievers. I know how that feels because the Rams are in the same boat. We have a good QB but no one to thorw it to, and we have a lousy offensive line. Anyway, good luck and here is to a good game.
