If you had asked if anyone has had their RC's polished you would probably get more responses! I'm sure most people don't recognize the production codes on those wheels.
People have done it, if you search the forum you should come up with some pics.
Anyone had their set fully polished? Pictures would be a great help.
Sorry lads my bad!
They look sweet as man cheers for that im deffo on this!
South coast mate, yea i was thinking that aswell. Not sure how hard it is to keep them clean once all chromed.
You should get in contact with Dav in Pureklas. Here's mine after he Chrome powder coated them for me.
He also refurbed the caps. .
Bit dirty here but the only close up I have at the moment. .
Pic of them out in the sun. They're absolutely no bother to look after too. I'd say if you have them polished they'll be a nightmare. I could be wrong on that though.
If you want any more info, give me a shout.
They look so nice mate. I have seen the work hes done before now come to think of it. Fantastic refurb faultless in my opinion.
Could you PM me price including mailing them to him, I know i have to take the tyres off them myself.
The refurb itself cost £280 iirc. You'd really have to look into your own mailing costs though, as I had to have mine shipped from Dublin, Ire. I'd assume your costs would be a lot lower than mine
There's a few people having it done now. One of my favorite things I've done to my 25th since I've owned it. I'm delighted I didn't just settle for plain silver.
I think my friend who got his done said he got his mailed for about 30.00 by a special wheel courier. Sounds acceptable to me. I need to get my tyres off, although its winter soon so might leave my mates crappy A8 wheels on over winter and get a refurb on the BBS anyways.
