    old school bug?

    Im on the hunt for an old school bug to transform into a rat rod style. Pref runnin but body cond doesnt really matter.if anyone has or knows where to go feel free to shoot me a pm.Thank you

    bugs here on the east coast are getting kind of rediculous in price.i paid 1600 for my 68 and it ran n drove with no heater channel rust n all.most bugs now are 1600 without a engine.try www.thesamba.com as well

    Yea its rediculous. I mean I want one to rat rod it out. Pref a pre 70. But like you said none are that reasonable
    Most have motor or idle problems (Carb issues) and there still asking 2500
    I tried ssamba and found a good bit of them. But once again none reasonably priced except ones without motors or just shells. Smh

    No worries. It's been "converted" to a roadster that needs finish work. Mainly selling drivetrain that happens to have a body attached. Has a Kennedy clutch, Scat short shifter w/new bushings, electric fuel pump, built 2110cc with dual webers, full MSD ignition (coil, distributor, wires, 6A), 914 wheels, drop spindles, leather seats, Optima battery, etc etc...

    my dad is trying to sell a 73 super beetle. it runs a lil rough but think its just a wire and he is tired of looking at in in the driveway. think he is only looking to get about $1000 out of it. if your intreested shooti me a PM. oh im located in Roanoke, va.
