- 1.8 8v G60 engine from a '89 Golf Rallye including full front mount intercooler (note: the G60 swaps from Corrados will not have this), rebuilt approximately 95k miles ago, 65mm aluminum pulley, 3.5bar Porsche fuel pressure regulator, SNS chip, powdercoated valve cover, intake manifold and charger brackets. Because this is from a stock Golf, the fitment is clean and factory correct.
- Techtonics 268/260 cam, ISV re-route and check valve, Bahn Brenner billet fuel rail, JL Audio battery cables.
- G-lader supercharger ported and polished by Kompressor Kanada roughly 17k miles ago. (Needs another rebuild)
- Custom 2.5" cat-back exhaust with Magnaflow muffler and dual tips (one of the best sounding exhausts I have heard).
- Mk3 2.0 five-speed manual with 16v pressure plate and flywheel, Sachs clutch disc, Neuspeed shift weight.
- Koni coilovers, Neuspeed front sway bar, polyurethane bushings.
- Corrado single-piston G60 11" front rotors, drums in back. (haven’t done the brakes since I’ve owned her, they still grip nicely)
- Replaced ball joints in September ’09 (work done by Volkstech in Burlington, NJ).
- Replaced clutch cable in November ’10.
- Replaced head gasket with a metal 1.8t gasket less than 200 miles ago
- Replaced Water pump and timing belt less than 200 miles ago
- New Kumho Ecsta tires size 195/50-15, less than 6000 miles on them, mounted on ECS BBS RS replicas, gold with polished lips (one wheel has a small spot or curb rash), some light clearcoat splitting around the faux bolts.
- Inspected in PA up until August of this year.
Exterior:
- Crosshair headlights, smoked turn signals, color-matched banana lights, newly replaced OE Hella fogs (wiring is in place, but only left side is currently working. Haven’t had a chance to look into further), OEM US tail lights
- Badgeless grille, Kamei grille spoiler, '85-spec rear glass, 16v/G60 flares, armor door plates, black Wolfsburg fender badges, polished Inxx hood lifts.
- Original paint has the requisite 20 years of dings and scratches, but the finish is excellent. Please see photos.
- Headlights wiring has been cleaned up with new relays and wiring.
Interior:
- Interior is in excellent condition. Very nicely fabricated false floor in back. Recaros are excellent. No rear seats
- Interior lighting was all redone (very nicely) with LEDs in the dash and climate control. Dome light was deleted, and rearview was replaced with a Mk1 Scirocco version that drops down from the headliner (another nice touch).
- Pioneer head-unit with ipod connector wired under dash.
- Wired for a bazooka sub, that has since been removed
- GTI 337 golf ball shifter.
- Custom boost and oil pressure gauges.
- Custom suede headliner in excellent condition, no sagging whatsoever.
The bad:
- Pioneer head-unit isn’t displaying the top-row of LCDs on screen. It’s readable, and all the buttons function, just an annoying detail.
- 1 cm dot of surface corrosion under rear passenger side window and 2 cm long spot on hatch right above license plate surround. These were on the car when it arrived in Philly and have been the same size since (pictures included).
Lets see whats out there. If your trade doesnt equal the price of this car. I can remove my wheels or you can put cash on top. I Also have some parts I can include in the trade if your car is worth more.
I would like a wagon but am open to anything to be honest.
