I know when I put in my recaros into my mk4, i needed to switch out my seat belt buckles themselves. my car is an 02 and the seats were 04.5. Theres a rather large torx head bolt that hold them on. with the seats out of the car you will see how they come apart.

Ya just ordered up new ones, i am also getting a side airbag igniter code but only on drivers side, do I just replace the igniter? Or is it something in the wiring under seat?
