Looking to sell my 1998 Tornado Red GTI VR6. Has 141k miles. Just looking to go down to one vehicle since I live in Queen Anne.
Recent maintenance:
Engine has a new oil pump, pan gasket, valve cover gasket, and serpentine belt tensioner.
Rear brakes just replaced 20 miles ago with new calipers, rotors, bearings and pads.
Front brakes have new pads but need new rotors relatively soon.
Tires are good condition Proxes (pretty sure) with roughly 30,000 miles left.
All new struts about 25,000 miles ago
Upgrades:
Halo/projector headlights, fog lights (one lens has cracked), H&R Sport springs, 15% tint from Accutint, Magnaflow cat-back exhaust, Pioneer CD player with USB and Aux connectors (still have OEM changer and deck as well), Focal 10" sub in a ProBox 110TB with Memphis Audio 1000w amp and a spare 250w Alpine amp.
The body overall is 8.5/10. Has a few chips in the paint but no rust that I've seen. The lower part of the grill is slightly dented. Door handles are still mostly black and only the rear plate tub has faded in the sun. Could use a new antenna.
The cruise control works intermittently but all the windows and locks work perfect. The horn currently does not work but I'm pretty sure just the horn needs to be replaced since I can hear the relay click when I try it.
The leather interior is in great condition with no rips, tears or otherwise broken sections. Driver's bolster is showing some wear but again, not cracked or worn to nothing.
I'm replacing the front door cards with non-puffy leather ones since my dog ate one of them. I'll include the puffy one that's good if you want it.

Thanks man. I hope someone buys it and loves it like I have.
After my previous car was totaled, I saw this one on the lot 4 years ago and remembered it from highschool in '99 and it being on the cover of Eurotuner or Hot Hatch and thinking it was an awesome car. I bought it right away.

How in the world are you supposed to sell a car you still have a loan on?
Need the money to pay the loan and get the title. People want the title when you make the sale. Catch 22.

You could always make arrangements ahead of time with the bank to have the title on site. Let them know you and a buyer will meet at the bank to pay off the lein.

When I sold my car that still had a loan against it, the buyer's bank paid my bank off and then the title was sent to them. I did have to write up a power of attorney for their bank to do so.
