if you have a 1.8t it's a 2004.5 and 20ths are only in 2003

iv noticed some gli's are 20th anniversary editions being an 04.5, how do you tell the difference from an 04 to 04.5?

04 gli is a 24v vr6 no different looking than a regular jetta, 04.5 is 1.8t with body kit ,bbs wheels, recaro seats

ok i never really new they had an 04.5 only heard of the 99.5 when they changed the body style to mk4, mine is a 04 GLI with 1.8t so its a 04.5 correct?

oh ok yea iv seen some 04 vr6 gli's for sale and wondered why they didnt have the gli lower valance kit, well i learned something new, guess i have a 04.5 GLI, thanks for the incite guys![]()
