Thread: Help with Xenons on 2004 Touareg

  1. 09-13-2012 02:24 PM #1
Hello. I need help figuring out what is wrong with the passenger side Xenon headlight on my '04 Touareg, which is not powering on unless I have it on high beam. The bulb itself is fine, but don't know what else is going on with it. Anybody else with experience in this issue? The mechanic I took it to said that it might be the ballast, but don't want to dish out money unless I know FOR SURE what is causing the issue. Please help with this!

swap the bulbs from side to side. Xenon's don't have a filament, so you can't tell by looking. There is nothing that is cheap with the xenon lighting system, doesn't matter what car they are on.
Tradition is the art of making the same mistake repeatedly, on purpose.
