I had the opportunity to drive my car around Nurburgring before I left Germany back in July. On the way to the ring, i caught up to a TTRS owned by an American out of Stuttgart. This guy was nice enough to take me around the track for two laps, and man was I VERY happy after those laps. He drove the car like he owned the ring. Course he did say he had about 500 laps on the ring. He had a R32 before the TTRS.

If I could afford a TTRS, I would get that along with the R.

    Thanks Tim!

Hopefully I will find it enough to last me a year.

Maybe me and youngmedic can make a video to compare the two cars, before he transforms to stage 2+ or more...

Did you ever choose a boost gauge? What are you going with?

Not a clue. I am being super picky. I need something modern and clean.

    Edit:

    The options so far:

    Edit 2:

I am most likely going to go with the NewSouth in vent deal.

I'm not a big fan of the P3 gauge as a boost gauge. But the multi function is pretty neat.

The new south is looking better and better to me. I currently have the Podi true blue gauge on order with a steering wheel mount. But I'm starting to want a vacuum gauge instead of an electric one

And with the cash savings on the new south I could get a HPFP.

Yeah, I am going to order the new south vent gauge today, when I find the best deal.

I love how the P3 looks, but it seems to me like it's cheap sh it china tech crap for a major premium.

Analog is the way to go, but I can't put it on the steering wheel, just tacky to me.
I would put it on the pillar way before on top of the steering wheel, if 42DD made one for the MK6

Yeah I'm a little iffy on the steering wheel mount but I like my driver side vent being adjustable.

I might have to order just the vent pod and see if I like how the airflow is coming out of it and then decide what gauge I want.

X2, but wish we had a better choices.

I remember seeing a small grey rectangle LCD display you can lay anywhere, but it was digital
display, but, iirc, it used a vacuum based sender.

But that blocks the use of the front cubby. Which I use to keep a bunch of stuff.

Got the downpipe install, it was a pita. The mutha $%&*+#@ driveshaft was a biatch to get off.

The OEM clamp SUCK!!! I have leaks in every clamp at first, which I expected, because I wanted the car to run and tighten, as it heated up.. The APR clamps sealed the male female connections
fine and easy, but the POS OEM clamp would not, no matter how tight, how much I tried changing
the joint distance, or the clamp postion (left, right, angled up/down in multiple ways) and I just
got it to where it was minimal and said F' this. I snapped one oem bolt, just because I was

Some pic's. Mainly wanted to show how I increased the distance btwn the heat shield and the
down pipe, I used a large crow bar, and ran it over the tight areas smoothly like a sled, so it
will look like it came from the factory and untouched. Worked well.
