Edit: Cars going In for paint in two weeks. Closed door respray in L90E Alpine white. Shaving the banana lights, fender mount for the antenna, Wolfsburg emblems. All dents are being fixed and all surface rust being addressed and fixed as well.
Found something else i want. I in no way have to get rid of this, i love the car.
Engine:
VR6
true mileage unknown.
engine was rebuilt in the past year by previous owner ( have a ton of receipts )
Chains done
clutch done
no leaks or strange ticks
mk4 headgasket
runs perfectly.
pulls real hard
TT Chipped
mk4 1.8T IAT
new crank sensor
3' stainless exhaust. TT headers, 42dd Hi flo cat and a magnaflow muffler. sounds superb.
shaved manifold.
new NGK plugs.
Taylor 8mm plug wires.
oil changed every 3k
trans have a fresh gear oil change. (syncromesh, i believe)
Exterior:
shaved and resprayed bay.
shaved rain tray
wire tucked through the fenders.
OG exterior
has a few dents and scuffs, only significant one is under the trunk near the VW emblem.
no real rust, at all. tiny spots here and there and surface starting around the gas cap.
Entire underbody was de-greased and undercoated. small spot size of the key. THATS IT!!
Westy front, grill repainted.
custom headlights with custom city lights.
GLi moldings
G60 front flares
5 lug swap from a mk3 GLX.
pretty clean paint. freshly buffed and waxed
Rokkor coilovers recently cleaned, no helpers.
Interior:
Mk3.5 cabrio dimple dash with OG mk2 vin plate
mk3 shift surround and center console, all black
MK4 24v shift knob in black leather.
B3 passat steering wheel
black suede headliner and A,B and C pillars.
Minty Recaros
MK3 all weather front mats
mk3 OBD1 VR6 black face cluster, reads 160,XXX. doesn't correspond with the engine mileage.
Cons:
window cranks hit the dash, gotta open the front doors to roll the windows down
headliner droops a little
no ebrake.
Asking 6k
