I have a mkIV GLI...before i deployed to afghanistan for 8 months, i noticed my turbo was spooling but wasn't pulling like it used to. Now that im back i want to fix this problem before i run a software upgrade on it and a turbo back exhaust. Anyone run into this similar problem? -Thanx

Do you hear any Fwoshhhh sound when it is spooling? it may be a boost leak

if not, get a air-fuel ratio gauge and check if your mix is running lean, could be the injectors not spitting enough fuel
