I rarely post pics of my car, but I really like the way these photos came out for some reason so I am sharing them again.
And an IG photo as she waits to have her timing belt and water pump done...
What do you guys think?![]()

I used to go, but I got really busy and haven't stopped by in a while. Hopefully it's still going on, I'll start checking it out again in the coming weeks. I really hate how it's on Friday nights though, to be honest I have better things to do than sit in a parking lot for a few hours.
Next time you're home send me a PM, we should try to get a bunch of people in the area together.

Thanks for all the nice comments and feedback guys!
I'm definitely trying to keep it simple and sleek, but modded enough to stand out. I think I've achieved that, but as you guys know, a car is never finished; there's always flaws I see, and things I want to change. We'll see what this season brings I guess...

Coils have been on for maybe 5k miles thus far, and absolutely no complaints. For what I was going for, they are perfect. I had racelands on my last car spun really low, and it pretty much destroyed it. My GLI I was trying to keep daily driveable, yet still look good; and Koni's are great for just that. Not only did I get a nice drop, but the ride isn't half bad either; way more comfortable than the budget coils I had on my last car, and most of the rides I have felt in friends cars that are static.
The OEM+ look is definitely what I was shooting for this time around, and I am pretty pleased with the progress I've made while being a completely broke college student.
The timing belt and water pump are being done right now, along with a CiM vent gauge install. When she gets home, I have a Forge 007 DV and ECS Ultimate Dog-Bone waiting for her. Then its off to get re-flashed stage 2 with Revo! As soon as I sell my paintball gear-bag, I'm going to mate my already installed DP with a nice Magnaflow cat-back! If anybody is looking to get into paintball and wants a nice setup and everything in my gear-bag let me know!
Sorry for the paragraphs lol

I'll get some pics up for you as soon as I get my car back from the timing belt and water pump job.
Here are some stock photos from CiM to hold you over:
It's not the BEST gauge on the market, but for aesthetics I think it is definitely the wisest choice. By far the cleanest, most OEM looking gauge I have found for the MKIV platform; which is why I decided to pay the absurdly high price for the kit!

Yeah, they are expensive which sucks, but so worth it in the end.
I promised myself after having Racelands on my first VW that I would never get a set of budget coils ever again. It sucked being embarrassed at stock height for those extra couple of months, but you get what you pay for, and saving up for a nice set was the best decision I ever made.

The link for the gauge kit is: http://conceptsinmotion.net/store/st...category_id=17
I'm not sure if it would fit the driver's side, although I am sure you could fabricate something to make it fit. I would go ahead and ask CiM and see what they say, I'm sure it's been done before.
If you're going to try it, I would just buy the gauge kit, and not the full vent kit. They are both in products, just look on the website. It's directly above the vent kit on the MK4 products list if I remember correctly.
Definitely a clean looking gauge setup though! I am happy with mine even though its not the best quality gauge out there.
