Previous owner of my "new" baby must have worn hand lotion or something that deteriorated several of the existing buttons. Need both the overhead control panel and the rotary sunroof switch.... two separate parts, as I understand it. Thank you!

    Hello,

I have a spare of the overhead control panel in Sonnenbeige. Please PM me for pics, as it is a used part. I do also have a spare of the knob, but it is missing some of the rubbery coating, so I am guessing you wouldn't be interested (I pulled it off of my car and replaced it with a better one)

Thank you VERY much for getting back to me Adam. In fact, after seeing no response after 50 or so views, I "bit the bullet" and ordered replacement new parts from 1stVWparts.com earlier this week. I figured that any parts out there at this stage would be missing the rubbery coating... like yours... and I decided that I wanted the best for my "new" baby. ;-) I did send a report to the forum administrator to remove this WTB post... but they apparently haven't gotten around to this yet. Thanks again... this sure is a great forum and collection of owners / enthusiasts!
