Same it is so basic... it is AMAZING! Clean and classic.

Here are my "daily" watches. I have a few $$$ watches that stay in my Dad's safe.

    Hamilton Valiant Auto

I looked it up on Hamilton's site and they do not go into detail, but I will look it up. I am interested now to see what it uses.

Sorry, I was looking at he second to the left. I have one of the little Timex ones. It is the only watch I have ever had that I could feel tick. If I lay it on the night stand it can hear it. Battery is on its 7th year.

    Nice.

From looking around a bit, it looks like it's an ETA 2824-2. That's a pretty decent movement.

Gotcha that one is marked US Time, and it also is a USMC watch. That one is probably 15 years old.

    "The ETA 2824-2
The reputation of ETA is known the world over. They are the largest manufacturer of Swiss mechanical movements and supply many of the top manufacturers, including Omega, Breitling, Tag-Heuer, IWC, and many others. In fact, both Omega and ETA are owned by the Swatch Group. Since the movement is the 'heart' of the watch, I have carefully chosen what I feel to be the best combination of reliability and value in the ETA 2824-2 movement."

    IIRC ~$165.

Getat Watch company the Chinese start-up. It is all high-quality parts, hand assembled by one guy named Tat in Hong Kong.

They are VERY popular and I have only heard, seen, and read good things about them.

People on Watchuseek are always complaining about how long he takes. Good stuff, but takes FOREVER. Still not acceptable, IMO. I'd file a claim, too.
