Some crazy stuff going on in China right now. This and other protests (if you can call it that) are in response to the Diaoyu Islands issue.
Some other car related protests in China...
Rioters smash Japanese cars, burn buildings:
Japanese cars overturned by rioters:
Xi'an Chinese man holds a sign that reads "CAR SMASHINGS AHEAD, JAPANESE CAR OWNERS SHOULD TURN BACK NOW"
A woman tries to stop rioters from demolishing her Japanese car
A woman discovers her Japanese car has been demolished:
A Honda owner drove his car to the nearest Honda dealership and set it on fire; banners in the back read "Defeat the Japanese Demons:"
The owner of a Japanese car (looks like a Corolla) has covered his car in the following messages: "Boycott Japanese goods, Wreck the Japanese economy ' I bought this car before Japan ****ed things up / From now on, I will boycott all Japanese products:"
At an auto show, a Chinese-brand car is wrapped in a PRC flag that reads "Patriotic Spending / Buy Chinese Goods:"

From Wikipedia-
"Although the United States does not have an official position on the merits of the competing sovereignty claims,[8] the islands are included within the U.S. Japan Security Treaty meaning that a defense of the islands by Japan may compel support from the United States military."
..which effectively puts us at war with China.
