    They're really nice .

Eddie Bauer winter Pac boots. Got a pair last year form Ebay for about 30 bucks and they are comparable with Sorel's that cost a lot more. For how often you're going to wear them, used is okay.
I had my eye on a pair of Born boots with fleece lining, but dont' think they are made anymore. I agree with the above poster the Timberland Earthkeeper boot look really nice. Anything from Keen for me as well. I'd like some NoPos, or the Glarus. From Lowa a pair of Trekkers or Borneos would do me nicely.

    or
If you live in an area that gets a lot of snowfall, stay away from those crepe soles.

These are what I'll be wearing most of the winter:

I'm gonna probably grab another pair in Goretex, too.

Got the same pair for going on 3 years now. Still looking good and are now really nicely broken-in.

Im looking at these UGGS. They look fairly comfortable and would look good with reg pants half tucked in or out/ over the top..

I don't have to deal with "weather" here. I wear these almost all year round. I have a couple of pair and they are light and fairly comfortable.

These sold out before I could buy them . Anyone have any similar recommendations?
These are my next choice so far but something a little shorter would be good:

I really like distressed looking stuff, I'm not a fan of the bright standard LL Bean boots.
    Thanks

I was never a shoe guy until I got my first pair of genuine leather boots. Now threads like this have me debating spending a good chunk of my next paycheck on ****ing shoes. What's wrong with me

    On topic, I'd rock these.

How do you like these in terms of comfort, water-proofness, and warmth? Moving to Alaska soon, thinking these may been good for general wear around anchorage
