Was wondering what its like for the scene in this area. possibly might be moving over there from seattle. just drove my mk2 over this weekend and didnt really see any mk1's, mk2's, or mk3's. so coming from seattle, probably gonna be a big change

The "scene" is ok here....... there are a couple gtg's going in the area one at Crazy G's in Spokane off of Divison street on Tuesday's and another in Coeur d'Alene at Paterson's Grocery on Satuday. I rarely ever make it to these, but the ones I have made it to were decent.

Thanks, but my mk2 is pretty fresh I think... It has a rallye grill!

Our scene is unique to Spokane that's for sure. Lots of the younger generation, and lots of "clicks". But plenty of long term die hard's that just don't go to gtg's. Just avoid drama and its all good.

I'm turning into Jerry and looking for a project car to start working on over the period of many, many years. $500 or so to spend on a working or non-working car. Prefer a Audi Coupe Quattro but might lean towards a Mk1 or Mk2 VW or something along those lines. Turbo, Megasquirt, etc is planned.

A buddy and I host a meet/drive/food monthly in Spokane. Normally on Friday nights. Next one is this sunday October 14th at 1pm 417 South Ash Spokane WA 99201. As always we will have a photographer there at 12:30 wait til about 1:45 and then go on a drive/have lunch and talk cars.
