They're suggesting that RB looks good for this type of circuit. I'm thinking that as long as Alonso can get on the podium, that should work in his favor.
The idea is for McLaren and RB to take points off each other and Alonso to continue to get into the middle of things.

I'm suggesting Kimi on the top step with Button and Alonso rounding out the top three. Alonso will need Massa to crash and bring out a safety car to win...

I like your line of thinking, but I can't help but think that Lotus will screw it up somehow. Webber usually does well on street circuits too, but he doesn't do very well when his car shuts down from the subway system.

I think a Lotus and a Force India might threaten for a podium.

I think Sauber has a better shot than FI.

Vettel back to the top step providing the alternator doesn't commit suicide again.

      Schumacher with a solid podium.

Here's Alonso giving us a preview of what his race will be like from pole!

I don't think this is actually Ferrari's sim. Seemed like he and Felipe were at a Lego publicity gathering when they asked Fernando to do a lap in their sim. He was about 3 seconds off his best actual lap time on this circuit.

A minute of applause scheduled just before the race in honor of The Prof. Maybe even a minute of silence.

I thought it was Vettel, Button, Alonso. If so, that puts the right guys in front of Alonso to hopefully continue his points lead.

Yeah that's the 2nd practice session, Vettel, Button, Alonso, Webber, and Hamilton.

You might like Vettel's new helmet. Wondering whether he will get to race with this on? On the one hand the guys might think he's the safety car and stay behind him the whole race.

any reason why hamilton has a silver colored helmet versus his yellow... just sayin.

i am currently at my house in italy and reports here are claiming that redbull have a strange sound coming from the exhaust. they mentioned there has been some complaints from the teams, the fia has been made aware. another blown diffuser idea. i watched the practices and heard a different noise. anybody else. just curious.

would like vettel, alonso, schumacher, kimi up on the steps somewhere

Maldonado will take Hamilton out...... Kimi WTF??? I see a smart race for Alonso...... Let see how the race goes...... Michael and Rosberg will be the only cars in the top 10 which will star with the hard compound.....

Could there ever be a more somber look on the faces of the top three during the interview? Hamilton must be movin on to Mercedes. I don't think i saw a smile on his face and Vettel is pissed whenever he's not dominating from pole. Maldo? Well he just has that guilty, psycho look about him. Lol
Perhaps Alonso should consider himself lucky to not be mixing it up with the first three??

Could it just be drivers are adjusting to racing under the lights as well as the time change from the Euro portion of the season?

Alonso needs to go deep into his first stint tomorrow.
Safety car has been deployed at every GP here, sofar.

He did get approval from Whiting to wear it during the race. Apparently the lights represent Seb and his families Zodiac signs. They flash for 15 seconds when Seb turns his head or any sudden movement. The batteries are hidden in his HANS device.

PS: Wondering if the electronics could possibly trigger a malfunction in Webber's car??
