Audi clear coats from the factory. Sounds like a way to dial up profit if you ask me. Best to google the value of the product, but this seems like one of those services that's sold at the dealer level and isn't something endorsed by Audi.

Bought a 2013 last week and the Finance Guy at the dealership tried to make me buy a paint treatment called "Simoniz Glass Coat" for about $800...doesn't Audi clear coat the cars at the factory?
What do you guys know about this stuff?

Check out youtube for videos about glasscoat. Bottles are being sold on eBay for under $50. I don't know if it's any good and I would rather spend $50 to find out.
