SOLD
Hello Vortex!
For Sale is my 2004 Audi A4 3.0L V6 Quattro UltraSport Package with 5 Speed Tiptronic (Automatic) Transmission at 118k miles.
The exterior color is Moro Blue Metallic (Dark Blue) with Ebony (Black) Leather Interior. UltraSport Package (or USP for short), if you're unfamiliar is similar to modern day "S Line" package. It takes an A4 with sport package and adds a unique exterior styling and bigger wheels to make the car look much more sporty than well, Sports Package. Along with it comes USP exclusive interior upgrades such as aluminum trim kits (instead of boring fake wood), perforated three spoke leather steering wheel and shift knob and lastly power sport bucket seats. I have the car debadged and many people mistake it for an S4. In my opinion, it looks better than an S4.
I've had the car since December of last year. I purchased it from my cousin who had it since the car had 15,000 miles. He purchased it from an older gentleman in Massachusetts. At the time I bought the car, it had 105,000 miles. During the 90,000 miles of my cousin's ownership he spared no expenses keeping the car maintained. He also spared no expenses in upgrading the look & feel of the car by adding the following list of mods:
List of tasteful mods to enhance the Look & Feel:
- European Valeo E-Code Xenon Headlamps
- European S4 Grille- Brushed Aluminum (Not tacky chrome) S4 Sideview Mirrors
- Eibach Sport Kit Springs & Koni Yellow Shocks
- H-Sport Anti Sway Bars Front & Rear
- iPod integration
- Front Component Speakers
- 35% Tint
- Milltek Full Catback Exhaust System
- Vagcom Mods: One click unlock, Remote open windows, etc...
Total value of approximately $5000 excluding labor.
Then he went and got himself a BMW 135. Needless to say, the Audi became available for sale. That's when I snatched it up and decided to give it an overhaul for a second wind of life.
Long list of recent repairs with invoice:
- Both Catalytic Converters
- New Oxygen Sensor
- New Upper & Lower Control Arms
- Upper Strut Mounts
- New Rack & Pinion
- New Power Steering Pump
- New Snub Mount
- Brakes Pads & Rotors
- Automatic Transmission Fluid Flush
- New Drive Shaft Seals
- Complete Timing Belt Job including OEM water pump, thermostat, and pulleys
- New Accessory Belt & Belt Tensioner
- Coil packs replaced at 75K
- New spark plugs at 118K
- New fuel filter at 118K
- Rear differential service at 118K
Total value of approximately $6500
The car drives phenomenally. It has no CELs (Check Engine Light). It looks fabulous. It sounds fantastic. It's a real gem and definitely one of a kind A4.
However! It is not without some flaws. It does have a parking lot dent on the driver side door and few dings on the same side. The paint on the nose of the car is not exactly "show room condition" from all the highway miles it's racked up. There are some plastic pieces inside the car that's beginning to peel. The emergency triangle sign is missing. On a really hot day, the brakes make some noise. Not a long list, but I'm throwing it out there so there are no surprises.
So you may be asking, why spend all this money and list it for sale? Here's why. Unfortunately (perhaps fortunately for my finances) my company has offered me a car allowance. No, the allowance will not get me anything of the same caliber, but it'll be FREE new car. I would be foolish to pass that up. Not to mention my wife would be delighted if I get a maintenance free vehicle. Therefore, my beloved A4 USP is up for sale.
Some key points:
It's a One of a Kind A4 USP. Very rare. Very special. Very unique.
No expenses were spared to keep this car in tip top condition running at its best throughout its entire life.
You will NOT find another in this condition anywhere.
KBB lists this car in 'Excellent' condition for $9,895 and 'Good' condition for $9,270 as of October 21, 2012.
Asking price of $9,000 OBO (Or Best Offer)
I am willing to negotiate on the price but...
Not interested in negotiating prices on email before you come and see the car.
Not interested in any trades.
Not interested in shipping the car to Africa.
Not interested in selling it to a dealership.
So please contact me if you're serious. I can and will be accommodating to show the car to interested buyers but at the same time I'm not interested in wasting anyone's time.
With that said, thank you for taking a look at my ad. I hope you buy my car.
