Three weeks ago I picked up a completely standard B4 Passat TD to use as a daily hack. Nice bus, served its purpose but after a message from a mate yesterday morning offering an even better Passat, it was fairly difficult to turn down. I had actually approached him about the said car three weeks ago but it wasn't around.

So, I had breif affair with this yolk

And after a quick phone call, I aquired this last night 8-)

I think most people will know the car. Photos have been yoinked from other threads :ymhug:

This is my 3rd AAZ over the years and its defo the tightest, it has 182k miles which is basically nothing on these. My first AAZ had 240k+ and was still a beast of an engine going stong.

As this is pretty much setup in the way I would have done it, I can focus on the cosmetics.

    The Plan:
Remove the 'I <3 Speedbumps' sticker
    Fit my BBS RS's - 15x8
Design 'Powered by Vegetable Oil' sticker and fit that
Get my hands on a set of VR6 rear lights

Here's one from the hand over

The reason I bought the car

I fitted my RS's to it but I wasn't mad on the look. For such a big heavy car, it really needs a bigger tyre so I've reverted back to the RA's which are running 195/50 instead of a stretched 195/45.

Funny to see a European B4 spec'd without an armrest... or was it removed to fit the Recaors in?

Anyway, this is not what I am here for; I am here for the MK2.

Looks great. Let me know if you come across an extra set of those textured sedan rub strips. Tough to find in the states.

They're out of a mk3 Golf Gti and are a straight swap They were optional back in the day and still fetch decent money. They're also height adjustable but aren't electric. I have the rears as well but they need a small bit of welding to make them work. The door cards are pretty close which is a nice bonus.

i am an open fan of the b3 not the b4's.
but those 2 b4 sedans look good.
maybe the color scheme? i am not sure of those colors were available here in canada or the usa.

    by the way.
can you hook me up with a few sets of the front window rain diffuser acrilic pieces?

    thanks.

Picked up a GTD boost pin and intercooler for this yesterday. The difference the boost pin makes is like night and day, its also set to the most agressive setting. The intercooler should also make a noticeable difference.

Next on the list is a 2.25" downpipe
