    my bikes been outside with me at school the past 5 years so i figured it was a good time to do this.
    i am replacing the tires with hybrid style tires, new odi xtreme lock grips, and serfas ddm-ct saddle

    didnt get a picture till i had already started disassembling the bike.



    forks off



    bare frame



    some filling and primer later



    the forks with the silver im using




    more to come later. ill keep the main color a secret till i shoot it.
    and excuse the wonderful iphone 3gs pics. new 5 this week. and a gopro reassembly.

    yup- you're correct- i didn't look at the pic well enough and thought it was a newer frame.

    i shot primer over those cups because they had some scratches in them too. they will get a layer of gloss black.

    got the lower color layed.

    did you tape off the brake bosses? otherwise your brakes might not go back on...

    Sure didnt. A little scuff pad will take it right off if it wont fit.
