On my 1998 Jetta it appears that a previous owner cleaned the windshield with a sock full of screws! None of the scratches are deep but they are very annoying in the right light (I am a stickler for a super clean windshield). My question is, does anyone know if there is a process I could do to help reduce or even remove small scratches in glass?

P.S.-I do have a PC 7424XP so I could do something with that as well. I am open to any suggestions! Thanks

Drop into a glass shop and see what they recommend .. I'd be scared of distorting the glass.

Interested to hear what they say. I want to replace my R32's windsheild but I can't get a promise from my insurance company that they will replace with Factory OEM glass .....that is unless I want to pay full price and not my deductible
