I was starting to get a little hot and bothered as soon as I saw what a fine job you were doing with the bodywork and paint! Seeing this camber was like having my balls smashed flat with a wooden mallet. Tell me this is blatant sarcasm
On a brighter and more supportive note, I LOVE the way you approached the side trim. I drool over these cars with shaved bumper holes and sidemarkers but bondo'd trim grooves seldom come out as smooth as people would wish for. It looks very unique and clean they way you left the recess. This is the approach that I wanted to take but I had a feeling it would be tedious work. Did you spot weld all the holes individually along with the lower seam in the rear quarter panel? Did you spend days with a dremel smoothing it out?? That is a tight groove to work in with a big grinder! Keep up the good work but if you plan to keep your tires like that, don't waste your time with a performance engine. Go diesel![]()

Bahaha that made my day! thanks man. i was exploring my options with the camber, i do want to run some camber but probably not that much tho.
and for the side moldings: i welded up each hole all 40 something of them, and took a air die grinder with a wheel about the same width of the inside of the molding to grind them down. then i taped above and below the molding and put down the filler and removed the tape before it hardened. I think i spent about two months on just welding up holes and filling. I should have taken pictures of this, but will with the next one!
Thanks for the complement man! have a good one.![]()

I knew it couldn't have been a short endeavor! It looks very well done. Your time paid off
Do what you want, but after all that body work, I would keep my tires as flat as I could, keeping as much rubber on the ground as I could, keeping my traction and handling as safe as I could. Keep it efficient. Form follows function. God forbid you ever have a car stop violently in front of you on the freeway and you need to pull some sort of stunt to make it around them.
Protect your investmentand remember you don't have bumpers to protect you

haha that is one reason I have my front bumper off but ended up leaving the rear. The front is my problem to worry about unless someone backs into me. You never know for sure but I like to think I can do a good job of keeping my front end safe. Any a*hole out there can run into the back of me at any time! You never know!![]()
