Time to part with my favorite car ever. Needed to get a car with automatic transmission due to future hip surgeries. So I Just Bought a Beetle The Jetta is NOT perfect and does need some repairs, cosmetics & paint. I will reveal all I have done maintenance wise and I will be very honest about what it needs. Nothing hidden from buyer. It is a 2000 VW Jetta 1.8 Turbo Manual 5 Speed with 212k Miles. Since she is a Turbo I have always used premium gas and have always kept up all of the scheduled maintenance. Everything I have done recently is listed below and has been preventative or scheduled maintenance. With the exception of the Battery dying shortly after I arrived here from Florida. (She was transported on a flat bed, NOT driven) and the cooling fan on the dual shroud going out. Other than that, this car has been one of the BEST cars I have ever owned. Below are the details.

    Car Needs:

Paint on hood, Roof & Trunk. Clear coat worn/wearing off (Thanks Arizona )
AC Compressor went out after spending $200 on a new expansion valve, dryer and cabin filter.
02 Sensor (Front) Check Engine Light On and says 02 Sensor Running Hot / Needs to be replaced.
**Possible** CAT replacement. Will know for sure after 02 Sensor Replaced.

I have driven this car for 7 years and have taken very good care of it, the ENGINE is PERFECT. Serious CASH buyers, who know and appreciate this cars value. I have a CLEAN free and clear Florida Title. Turbo Boosts Perfectly and you will be surprised at how much power this stock Jetta has. Cash talks and all reasonable offers will be considered. I may be interested in trading for an older running car like a Karman Ghia, or an older classic cruising motorcycle like a Honda Rebel 450 or Shadow 600 and UP as a b-day gift for my brother. Please DON'T insult me by making ridiculously low offers. What I consider a good offer is anything above $2500 Thanks for looking and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. PM me for contact # and email addy.

Might want to explain what is going on with the interior in your ad, I see some confusing door panel modifications in your pics...

Also your asking price is in line w/ KBB values in excellent condition sorry to be your dream crusher but this car is worth about $2k. GLWTS though.

No worries my dreams aren't easily crushed since i am a resilient girl. I have 3 offers between 2100 and 2300. I know all too well that interior stuff in NOT a big deal as I am sure you do Stock Door Panels @ upick in excellent condition $25 a piece. Whats important is that the engine is in incredible shape due to meticulous upkeep. Also people looking for a 1.8T specifically don't really care about cosmetic stuff. So thanks for your input but I am sticking to my asking price of 2500 or better

Take the 2300 offer, honestly for a 2000 with over 200k and no ac, paint, and interior issues thats a good price.

Some by Certified VW Shop in Florida. Some by Tire Kingdom, Some by Independent Mechanic and some by me. Car getting worked on today @ a shop that belongs to my friend. Will update what repairs were done since I only have to pay for parts I'm not budging on my asking price of $2500 or better no matter what anyone says. I know whats been put into this car and I know how I have taken care of it. I'm in no hurry since I have (2) other VW's. But thanks for the input, I appreciate it.
