Anyone else pre order it? Super excited I haven't bought a CD in 8 years because I haven't felt any of them good enough to buy, this one is different, there's love in the music and the packaging. No way I'm buying good music in iTunes. Nothing like a CD in your head unit the quality is unmatched.

Thanks X37 on the heads up on the pre-order of the deluxe edition. There is definitely more good music out worth purchasing a physical copy. It's just not on commercial radio. I find a lot of worth while music. Just have to look for it (unfortunately) or get suggestions from like-minded fans. I can say Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's music is not for everyone, but I enjoy it.

Funny, I just spotted this upcoming album when I was finishing up creating the monthly album release list for September yesterday. I'm looking forward to this. I think it's been about two years that I've listened to their music now.

    Here is the tracklist:

    1. Ten Thousand Hours

    2. Can't Hold Us featuring Ray Dalton

    3. Thrift Shop featuring Wanz

    4. Thin Line featuring Buffalo Madonna

    5. Same Love featuring Mary Lambert

    6. Make The Money

    7. Neon Cathedral featuring Allen Stone

    8. BomBom featuring The Teaching

    9. White Walls featuring ScHoolBoy Q(of Black Hippy); Hollis

    10. Jimmy Iovine featuring Ab-Soul (of Black Hippy)

    11. Wing$

    12. A Wake featuring Evan Roman

    13. Gold featuring Eighty4 Fly

    14. Starting Over featuring Ben Bridwell (of Band Of Horses)

    15. Cowboy Boots

Good to hear. Definitely check their previous work too. I say their because Macklemore has most of his production done by Ryan Lewis.

Okay I'll get back to you with some artist I listen to you may like. As for the people you just mentioned. I listen to them as well.

Murs has released four albums in two years. Technically two solo albums and two collaboration albums:

Murs & Fashawn - This Generation (Released last week)
Murs & Josh Blaylock - Yumiko graphic novel + Soundtrack (2012)
Murs - Love & Rockets, Vol. 1: The Transformation (Produced entirely by Ski Beatz)(2011)
Melrose (Murs + Terrace Martin) - Melrose (2011)

Lupe's new album dropped last week.
Tech N9ne released a EP last month called " E.B.A.H. EP".

I asked Macklemore and Ryan Lewis to sign my copy of "The Heist" and they did it! The Number 1 Artists on iTunes signed my CD for me! I am so happy right now words can't describe it. You guys are awesome! #sharkfacegang

Been listening to Macklemore in the last few years and glad he's finally getting where credit is due. 'Heist' is one of the best hip hop albums I've listened to in a while.

I picked-up his deluxe edition at our local record store, Easy Street Records, on the day of its release and what do you know, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were there doing an in-store signing and gave a rooftop performance before then.

Absolutely nice down-to-earth local guys. Second time shaking hands with them, first being at their University of Washington free show in September of last year.

Some other Seattle hip hop acts:

    Sol
    Grynch
    Fresh Espresso
    The Physics
    Shabazz Palaces
    Blue Scholars
    Common Market
    Grieves
    Champagne Champagne

    Grynch-Volvo

I'm so glad there are such cool artists out there who really love and appreciate their fans.

Enjoying this album. My brother in law showed me the Thrift Shop video. I thought it was dope. But I had no idea what I was in for once I grabbed the album. Truly one of a kind guy with good material plus he got my favorite soul singer Allen Stone on the hook in Neon Cathedral.
She keeps tellin me you should sell that POS everyday. And then I consider the alternative. A quiet, boring, lil eco box. And then when im on the on ramp to the highway I punch it and wind out 3rd gear and hear that intake and the exhaust together in perfect harmony as it rips a humongous hole in the ozone layer and causes the spontaneous explosions of tree huggers faces . I my VR6!!!

Great album. If you guys enjoy him check out the artist "Classified". He's a Canadian rapper, just released a new album a few weeks ago.
