Thread: Asian cars...

What do u think of them. Why is Honda compared to vw? They add stuff to better their performance while vw has stock turbos and built for highway driving. What 10-15 year old Honda has heated leather heated seats and mirrors and so much more that even brand new barely has. Seriously. I saw a brand new acura today with the stick holding the hood up. Still? Anything I missed? What's your view.

Really not sure what you're asking here but I'll bite. It depends on personalpreference and what they want out of their cars. Asian automakers might appeal to someone with low maintenance and care-free driving experience. Not all people like getting some dirt on their hands With all the 10 year/100,000 mile warranties out there now some people would just not worry about what goes in their car and just drop it off at the dealer and pick it up when their work is done. Just my .2 sorry for the rant.

I get the people who just use it for work and just care about having 4 reliable wheels. I'm talking more about the hook ups. I see vw and Honda competing but I don't see the point. When it comes to dealer options there's no comparison. plus safety. I know they have a v tec engine but to me that's ALL they got going for them. They're so full of themselves because they own a Honda. I'm lost why that's so

I read they only did that to the Jetta to cheapen it to compete with the civic at the NYC car show. The gti had an automated one. Strange? but then I read that the mk5 didn't sell as hot as the mk4 so that supposidly was the real reason behind cutting back on sum stuff.
