FOR SALE
1987 Audi 4000cs Quattro
2.2 litre 10v AWD 5sp manual trans
88,000 actual miles
solid body and chassis
all new control arms with hd bushings
4x balljoints new
rear tierods replaced
clutch slave replaced 200 miles ago
brakes were done 1000 miles ago zimmermans and akebono pads
fuel filter and banjo fitting to pump (I just didn't like how it looked)
full tune up plugs, wires, airfilter, cap, rotor, vbelts, timing belt, water pump, and valve cover gasket. all done 500 miles ago.
1500 miles on hankook tyres on 15 inch audi 90 speedlines
fixed, filled, and sanded all body weirdness that comes with a 25 year old rally car.
interior is good. no rips or tears some of the piping in the rear is coming loose.
moon roof work perfectly and no leaks
quattro works perfectly and the fun diffy knob still functions perfectly
two hella 500s mounted to the front bumper
I'm pretty sure theres more but I cant think of it now.
Now, with every car, there is the bad.
drivers rear door is stuck. not a hard fix needs a door latch. Duder at force5 has it for cheap
speedo cable just failed. easy , inexpensive fix. just havent got around to it
exhaust leak at the cat. The rest looks mint but would sound way better with a sportier exhuast
front right spring is missing a coil. I've seen sport springs going for $190ish around the interweb. But it is only noticeable under high speed left cornering other wise the shocks are still holding out and the ride is firm yet supple.
$1500 TAKES IT!!!! I'M TAKING A LOSS BUT SICK OF THE NAGGING. Gimme cash, I give you the title and keys, you drive it away from me.

Its a 2.slow....thats the main thing wrong with it lol...has a lil mk3 rust on rockers and quarters. Runs awesome. Brand new clutch. Just needs more go fast goodies. But i have a kid on the way and need a 4 door car

No worries on the delay.
2.0L will last forever when properly maintained. have you done the second t belt yet? What suspension are you running. What other goodies have you added on to it? Any other pics?

engine-wise i havent really done much to it. putting in a brand new clutch this week. its running raceland ultimos along with an eibach 24mm rear swaybar and a front upper bar.
you can see most of what it has in the pics..ecodes, badgeless, crystal smoked long turns/fogs, etc

A gentleman stopped by and seemed to love the Audi. Said he would be by to pic it up and never showed, won't answer his phone, and won't call me back. So it is back up for sale and I knocked about a grand off the price and I'm open to Realistic offers.

Hello, I am very interested in your quattro. Could I get some info? How many miles are on the car and on the engine? Other than the door and speedo not working how are the other systems - especially heat and electrical system. What is the rust situation? Does the whole quattro drive system work in all modes?
