Finally got my mods done. Thanks for all those who answered my pm's you know who you are. Was nervous modding the wife's main ride, (and our baby's for that matter) but happy with the results.
I searched thru a lot of threads and spent like a week reading the 145 page mod thread.

So just posted a new thread here for anyone (like me) who was searching for subtle mods for their DD and doesn't want to sift thru 145 pages and counting. Keywords (and mods) for future searches...Riding on Konis, Ed's lights with morimoto hits, Enkei Lussos wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

the ride height. How much was the drop. I need to get some of the floaty couch trait out of my new wagon.

Are the chrome tips an addition if you get the sunroof/nav? Since my wagon does not have these tips as I don't have the sunroof or the nav or the DSG.

    thanks!

Right now the konis are up all the way in the rear and just one perch from the top up front - dampening at middle and it rides real nice- you can tell its tighter but it's not jarring- turn in feels great and highway ride is smooth. I live near dc and the roads are brutal too and it's been good so far. I've had the car loaded w tile ( redoing basement) and stuff and no sagging or rubbing.

I love the tires too- I've always loved pilot sports (I have ps2s on my other car (Mazda rx8) and love em.

Chrome tips are Oem from Ecs.

Wow. Really, really nice. If I had a more recent-vintage JSW (mine's a 2009) this is what I would want it to look like.

How were the fitment of the Konis? I know some people on here have replaced the springs with H&R sport springs due to some fitment issue. Have you felt the need or are they out of the box perfect?

For me they (A3 fitment) are perfect.

i got them off of wrdusa and they fit well out of the box., got the recommended bearings that come with it.

it feels like an oem sport suspension, no knocking or weird noises, or bouncy-ness. It's stiffer over a succesion of large bumps in the road and you can feel imperfections but on smooth roads and 80 precent of the time you feel as if you're on the stock suspension. Some of that is also a nature of me running a lower sidewall (40 vs. 45) tire I guess. Handling and turn in much improved.

If my wife was going to let me mod our jsw, that's what I would want it to look like (except in tempest blue). Perfect amount of drop and perfect size wheels.

list of some of the mods are in the first post , and it is lowered.... come drive thru DC every day and we'll see how low you like your car. it's on konis so i can but for now small drop is fine by me.

I just ordered mine from the same place this is good to hear. They come highly recommended from everyone who has them.

service at wrdusa was great. got mine fast. good luck with em! im real happy with them. im renovating basement and had back filled with tons of tile last night, and it took the added weight fine, so im real happy with the performance/day to day functionality of them.
