    I was thinking the 12th


    The Leavenworth Oktoberfest always falls on the first three weekends in October. We celebrate each Friday and Saturday. The 2012 dates are October 5th-6th, 12th-13th and 19th and 20th.

    What ever you do, don’t miss our Keg Tapping Ceremony at 1:00 pm every Saturday when Leavenworth's Mayor will honor a Bavarian Tradition of “tapping the keg”. Then plan on hanging around and checking out music from our own Musikkapelle Leavenworth who will be joined by other musical groups from the US and Germany.

    I did this last year the same weekend as the xxx fall fling, had a blast and I was planning in doing it again. I'm from Portland so it's a bit more of a trip for me and I like to hit all the events I can packed into one weekend.

    Portland to Leavenworth for the day on the 20th get a hotel room and head to issiquah for xxx Sunday followed by a yet to be announced Mkii event

    It just depends on when the mk2 photoshoot is I think. Like loui said, he would like to get it all done in one trip, and I know he would rather it be earlier in october because of the baby on the way I am down for anything, but I need to know at least a week in advance so I can take the time off work since I work weekends.

    I'm good with the weekend of the 20th. I talked to Brian and he said that week works for him. Plus itll help me save some more beer money. Last year $100.00 wasn't enough

    Check the facebook event for current updates, but here we go.

    I know that the Stage Green Road Rally is the same day, so I'm expecting a lot more people to attend that, but Leavenworth should be fun as well for those going.

    I just copied what I posted on the Facebook event.

    Hey everyone, just wanted to clear up a bit the meeting point for Saturday.
    Krispy Kreme parking lot of the Tacoma Mall at 8-8:30AM and will be on the road by 9AM. For the few that are coming up and not familiar with the area the address is in the picture posted below.

    I have a meeting that same morning at the mall so I might be a little late getting there, but will be there before we leave at 9.

    Remember to invite our friends and have them come along. It's going to be a good day and it looks like the weather is going to look up for us too.

    Probably take the I-90 Route since unlike the actual Leavenworth cruise we starting in Tacoma and it's a straight shot across to the town of Leavenworth.
