    HELP! Fuel Door Stuck! '73 Squareback

    So, I'm trying to get gas this morning and tug on the fuel door release located inside the car under the passenger side dash. I barely pull the release and it comes out. The release itself is not broken. It just seems like it needs to be put back, but I have no clue how to even get to it.

    I eventually pried it open with my ID and screwdriver ): I needed gas bad.

    How do I fix the fuel door release? Any one ever have this problem? Any help is much appreciated.
